We were able to spend this Easter with two sets of family this year, so Kendall got to have two Easter egg hunts! On Saturday, the Turners had us over for lunch and an egg hunt, and on Sunday, we went up to Canyon to spend the afternoon with the Jacksons.
I had to work Saturday and was only able to run over for lunch, but Isaiah and Kendall got to stay and hang out.
Aunt Susie made these really cool “bowls” out of hardened chocolate to put ice cream in for the kids. Kendall could have cared less about the ice cream…she wanted the chocolate! She started gnawing on the bowl and had a chocolate smile from ear to ear…we all were cracking up b/c she looked like the Joker!
Her cousins Cayden and Avery helped her clean up! (Oh, and by the way, I was so busy that Isaiah went and picked out her Easter basket. Isn’t he a good daddy?!?!)
I think she had a good time…asleep on the way home!
Checking out her Easter basket on Easter morning before we went to church…
After Cayden and Avery taught her the proper techniques, she knew just what to do on Sunday! :)
Two can work faster than one!
Family pic!
Making googly eyes at her Uncle Mike!
Eating jelly beans with Daddy…
Mommy and Aunt Kathie about to clean off her Hitler-style chocolate mustache!
I see a trend forming…big lunch, hunt eggs, NAP!
We finally took Kendall out to the playground at Kidsville or whatever it’s called. Most of it is still too big for her to do on her own, but she liked going down the slide with Daddy!
As you can see…
After rocketing down the slide repeatedly, the swing wasn’t quite as fun…
Tuggy had fun running around chasing his tennis ball. Oh, and he wanted everybody to know how patriotic he is… :)
