Finally Home!

We finally got to bring Kendall home from the hospital on Sunday, July 18, just one day before her one month birthday! The last month has been a rollercoaster, but we're so glad to finally be out of the hospital and home in Plainview. Kendall seems to be adjusting well, and she actually sleeps better during the day when the TV is going, we're messing around the house and the dogs are barking, rather than when it's quiet at night. I think that's a sign of a gal who spent too much time in the NICU and is used to all kinds of noise! :)

I don't have time to write too much, as my life consists of feeding Kendall, burping Kendall, changing Kendall's diapers, holding and rocking Kendall, washing Kendall's bottles, sleeping and fitting in a quick shower at some point during the day. Ugh, why didn't anyone tell me babies consume your life?!? Just kidding, I wouldn't trade her for a minute, and I'm pretty sure I did hear that somewhere...

Here's a few of my favorite pics since the last post...

In the NICU, briefly unhooked from all her monitors, just before getting a bath:

Hanging out with my cousins at the July 3 Turner family get-together, which doubled as my Lubbock shower:

As you can see, this girl likes to sleep...a lot!

Posing in her lammy onesie from cousin April:

The Sanders' RV and our home for almost an entire month. I will always be indebted to these precious people!

Our growing family, just before we left the hospital:

Kendall all buckled in her carseat and ready to go:

Kendall getting her groceries from Nana, who has stayed here with us since she was born. THANKS, NANA!

My little hood-rat in her stocking cap after a bath at home:

Sleeping in the bassinette at home:
