Before I get to our Halloween stuff, I had to post this picture. We absolutely love our next door neighbor, S.M., who came over to meet us the first day we moved in our house here in Plainview. He's so sweet and friendly, and since he's a widower, we try to invite him over for dinner every week or two. While Kendall and I were in Lubbock in the NICU, he'd come over every few days to ask Isaiah how we girls were doing and was so excited for us to come home. But then before we brought K home, S.M. fell and broke his hip and had to be in rehabilitation in Lubbock for a few months. He finally got to move back home last month and he just LOVES Kendall. Every time he comes over for dinner he walks in the door and asks to hold her first thing. How many 80-something year old men do you know that love babies so much?!?! And he doesn't even mind when she cries...he just loves on her and loves to talk to her.
Here's Kendall and her best buddy, S.M.:

Sweet girl napping on the floor with the afternoon shadows made by our shutters:

Ready for Halloween in her "Baby's 1st Halloween" onesie (look at those blue eyes!):

All worn out in her highchair:

I bought this peanut costume for our niece Camryn three years ago when she was only 2 1/2 months old and my S-I-L Maryann gave it to me this summer for us to use for Kendall! Here's our little Camryn in it in 2007:

And here's Kendall in 2010!

The smiliest peanut ever!

Posing with Daddy:

Waiting for trick-or-treaters with Mommy:

Isaiah bought a bunch of candy and we hoped to have a lot of trick-or-treaters, but we only had two groups come by. Maybe next year Kendall will be big and healthy enough to go trick-or-treating too! :)
