She had her two month shots at the doctor last week and only cried for about a minute or so, but got over it pretty quickly. She weighed 6 lbs., 9.5 oz., so she keeps growing and doing well. The only bummer is that since they waited to give her the HepB shot until 3 weeks in the hospital, they can't give it to her until 2 months after that date....meaning we have to go back to the doctor and get another shot in a few weeks! Poor little squirt!
Nana came to visit again for two weeks and helped out a lot with Miss Kendall. It was great to have her here so I could go to the grocery store whenever I wanted and even was able to meet two different friends for lunch in Lubbock! She just went home on Wednesday so now we're trying to get back into our regular routine.
Other than Isaiah going to work and me taking care of Kendall, life is pretty uneventful. We're just watching the little gal grow and change so quickly! She's starting to focus better on things, but it's still tough to "play" with her because she won't really look at anything consistently. We're just fine holding and cuddling on her, because I know after a while she won't be still enough for me to!
We're still planning to head to San Marcos for Labor Day, which I'm looking forward to. We'll get to see my folks, brother and his family (Kendall's cousins!) and friends from home. Oh, and one of the most important things...I told Mom we MUST make a trip to eat at Clear Springs. I've been craving their catfish, shrimp and onion rings all summer! :)
That's about it for now, other than to share some pics of Miss K. As you'll see, she still sleeps a lot...and she's so cute doing it!

Two month pictures -- this was pretty much the only face she wanted to make, which we call her owl face because Isaiah hoots like an owl at her when she does it:

Okay, she's over it...
