But life isn't all bad for him, as you can see. He and Tuggy are best friends and cuddle buddies!
This was last week when I felt like Kendall probably needed a sweatshirt on, even in the house. It was so cold! She rocked her "coat of many colors" with the hoodie all day.
We've moved on from just cereal and fruit to orange veggies. She wasn't too sure about the sweet potatoes the first day, but caught on just fine after that. I've been making all her baby food (other than cereal) homemade, and the freezer is filling up with little cubes of Kendall food! We're launching into green and other veggies soon, so I'm hoping she catches on to those okay. We started avocados yesterday and she wasn't sure about them, but I'm going to keep at it. My little girl has GOT to love avocados!
Here she is, happy after a carrot smorgasbord:
As she's starting to outgrow her bouncer and swing, we've tried out her walker recently. Her little legs just swing in the air and she's not even close to being able to put her feet on the floor, but she still gets to play with the stuff on the tray. (Thanks to my Aunt Joyce for the Pooh walker!)
The other day Kendall and I were in the guest room and she was hanging out on the bed with Baby Tad while I was printing some documents. I noticed she had gotten quiet...and sure enough, she'd dozed off on the bed. Seriously...is there anything cuter than a sleeping baby?!?!
Our girl is so good and patient when waiting for me to fix her lunch and dinner. She sits in her Bumbo and plays with toys and smiles at me the whole time. There's nothing spectacular about this picture, but I thought it was cute and captures her sweet disposition.
This girl can make her some faces!
All I know is there's nothing cuter than a baby in blue jeans! I love these I got from the Children's Place b/c they have embroidered butterflies and flowers on them.
We're still working on the rolling over (sigh...), and she does a pretty good job of holding her head up. She rolls on to her left side, but would rather crane her head and look back than rolling over onto her tummy. Ah well...I guess we'll get it someday.
And then after a bit, she's happy to just lay there and smile at me until I help her roll back over. Little stinker!
Kendall's Nana is coming to visit next week, so we're looking forward to having her love on our girl and babysit so we can go out too! Stay warm, everybody! :)
Love all the adorable pictures! Kendall is so beautiful and looks like such a sweet little girl. We are at the same stage with rolling- Emily can get to her left side and then cranes her neck back. And she waits for me to roll her, too. Must be a preemie thing!
