Kendall’s January Shenanigans

I tell you what…this little toot is just becoming more of a mess all the time! Sometimes I think she thinks she’s three instead of 19 months old. She’s into absolutely everything, loves to be read to and has very particular ideas about when and what she wants to eat!

On this day, she was obsessed with pulling my bra out of the white pile of laundry. She carried around it around for several hours and figured out how to put her arms through it, and wore it like a backpack!

Over the holidays, we were able to see my sweet friend Allison, her hubby Eric and their son, Owen. Kendall and Owen have seen each other before, but this was the first time they could really interact. It was so cute to watch them together, and Owen was so sweet to give Kendall hugs and kisses when we’d ask him to! So cute!

My mom bought this black velvet, tiered dress and sassy red cardigan for Kendall. She wore it to church a few weeks ago and looked so stinking cute! I love getting her all dressed up!

Her new thing is to pull out her lunchbox or small diaper bag I use for Mother’s Day Out and get a coat, which she needs help putting on, and walk around like a big girl! Here she is with her owl lunchbox and dressy coat, looking like she’s ready to go to work!

K’s hair is finally long enough that if I really work at it, I can get it in a ponytail, which makes her look so grown up! It’s so soft and fine though that it doesn’t stay in very long, so I figured I’d better take a picture before she wrecked it!

This girl looooves her some tortellini and broccoli with alfredo sauce, as you can plainly see! Her favorite thing in the whole wide world is blueberries, and we go through buckets of them every week!

She’s added a few new words this week, including bubble, “baaa” for sheep, “mmmm” for cows (doesn’t quite get the ooo sound yet!).
