Weekend with Morgan Family

Howdy there! Isaiah's sister Amber and her girls, Gabby (almost 4) and Tori (2), came to visit this weekend, along with our nephew, Zeek (6). It was a fun-filled, chaotic weekend...but what would you expect from a house with three kids ages six and under, three adults and three dogs?!?!

Isaiah and the kiddos using Tug as a pillow:

Isaiah was able to come home early from work on Friday, and we all loaded up and headed to the pool for a few hours in the afternoon. After dinner, we took the kids to see the third Ice Age movie at the drive-in. Zeek was the only kiddo to stay awake through the entire movie, but they were all sacked out by the time we got home. Needless to say, bedtime was a cinch that night!

Tuggy guarding Gabby during bath time. That girl would live in the tub if you'd let her!

Then on Saturday, we went to the Science Spectrum, a children's museum with a science slant. The kids had an absolute ball and all took naps during the Wild Safari movie at the Omni theater, one of those huge dome shaped screens. I threatened to make the kids give us refunds, but Isaiah didn't think it was a good idea. ;)

On Sunday we just hung out, played with blocks and watched Cars. Uncle Ike got really crafty and helped the kids make masks out of styrofoam plates, markers and bendy straws. It was so cute! Gabby was a butterfly, Zeek was a sun and Tori was a bear, as you can see...

Anyway, we had a good weekend and it was fun to see Amber and the kiddos. The good news? Isaiah has the day off on Friday so we have a three-day weekend to spend together. YAY! :)
